Save the Date for These Great Parent Workshops at LJES! 2/20 and 2/27 at 11:30am, Library
We are again fortunate to have Dr. Susan Wais present two parent workshops, free of charge, and open to all LJES parents and guardians.
Wednesday 2/20: Others Matter - One of the most important ingredients for a happy life is our relationship with others. Research tells us how we respond to another person's good fortune is a better predictor of a successful relationship than how we respond when things go badly. Learn a simple technique that will allow you to respond to other's good news in a way that will build your relationship.
Wednesday 2/27: Grit - Research shows that perseverance is as important to success as intelligence. Learn about grit and how to help your children become grittier.
