The Highlands community was hit hard by Hurricane Sandy. The devastation left 1,200 out of 1,500 homes uninhabitable and many of the Highlands Elementary School students and their families homeless, living in shelters and losing most of their possessions.

The Service Learning Leadership Group will join the La Jolla Parks and Beaches community project to restore the Coast Walk at the Children's Pool. Due to a scheduling conflict, the photo booth fundraiser for this effort has been postponed. Stay tuned for new details!

   

Walk around the village, singing holiday favorites for stores, shoppers, and a  nursing home. Families and friends welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and bring a signed waiver.
