Resiliency Workshop Today
Open to All Parents
11:30 Today in Rm 11 (Resource Room)
Today we will hold our 5th workshop session with Dr. Susan Wais, who teaches us how to help our children recognize their character strengths, and how to use these strengths to thrive in school and in life. The workshops are offered to LJES parents free of charge. Child care provided.

Parent Teacher Conferences Are Underway Through Friday
Please note these conference day reminders:
- If you do not have a conference time, please contact your child's teacher ASAP to make conference arrangements
- All conference days are Minimum Days -- dismissal time is 12:45
- No Knowledge College all week
- No Wednesday After School Classes
- YES we will have Pizza Wednesday today!

 Put on your dancing shoes and prepare to make some memories!
The Rey Vinole Swing Band will be playing music from the 40's through today, so get ready to dance the evening away.
Tom Dochstader, professional photographer, will be there taking portraits.
The Book Fair will be open to visit during the evening.
Lemonade and cookies will be served.
 An evening of fun, memory making moments are waiting

Kids LOVE to choose books at the
LJES Book Fair!
Support our library by visiting the fair and purchasing books for your child or your child's classroom, all at reasonable prices. Remaining Book Fair hours are:
- Before school, 8:30 - 9am
- After school, 12:45 - 1:15
- During the Family Dance on Nov. 15th
- The book fair closes Fri. Nov. 16th at 9:00 am
Can't make it to the Book Fair?
You can also order books online from Oct. 31st - Nov. 20th. This is also a great option for friends or relatives. Click here to order.
