We can help!  ActivTrax has a nutrition component to let you  record the foods you eat, or plan to eat, using the online Meal Planner.  Tracking calories and eating healthier has never been easier.

The newest feature to the ActivTrax platform means you now have the power of your personal nutrition journal in the palm of your hands.  Works on both iOS and Android.  Click here to get started from your smartphone.

ActivTrax Monthly Challenge.  Spring is just around the corner.  Our monthly challenge gives you that extra push to get into shape.  Join us in this month's ActivTrax Spring Into Shape challenge.

Benefits ActivTrax offers:

  • Easy to follow workouts
  • Designed around equipment at your Y
  • Personalized Training always available to you
  • Detailed Progress Analysis of your fitness level

IT'S MY PARTY!

Schedule your child's birthday party at the Y and leave the fuss to us!  The party includes the use of the party room for one hour and an activity for one hour.  Activity choices include: recreational swim and water games or gym games.

Do you want us to run the activity time for you?  No problem, we can do that.  Let the Y decorate and clean up too.  Price of your package depends on the level of service you desire.

Are you ready to schedule your next event at the  Y?  Click here to contact Cailtyn O'Hara to discuss your options.

SPRING IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER...

Easter Egg Hunt with the Bunny - Join the Easter Bunny for the Easter Egg Hunt at 2:00 p.m. on April 13th.  This FREE event is for children 10 years and under.  Sponsored by the Y and Hope Presbyterian Church.

Spring Break Camp, April 14-18

Join the fun at the Y during Spring Break.  School-age children participate in swimming, arts and crafts, games and more!  This is great way to meet new friends and have fun in a safe, caring environment.  Contact the Welcome Center or Brandon Fry for more information about Spring Break camp.

Learn to Swim, April 14-18swim girl

The Y is making sure every child in Isle of Wight has a chance to "Learn to Swim."  Any second grade child attending Isle of Wight Schools is eligible to participate in the Y's Learn to Swim program FREE of charge. We are offering a session of swim lessons during Spring Break, April 14-18th at 4:00 p.m.  Tell your neighbors, friends, and co-workers, you don't have to be a member to participate!  Please register at the Welcome Center.

JAIL AND BAIL

Twenty of your fellow Y members and community leaders have agreed to be "arrested" for the Y's Jail and Bail on April 1st.  If you get a call for "bail," please consider helping us raise funds for the Guardian financial assistance campaign. The campaign allows us to open our doors and our hearts to those in need. Can you help?  Here's what your gift can do for others:  blue green group

  • $25 protects a child from harm by giving them a session of swim lessons
  • $50 raises a child's self-esteem through participation in a youth sport
  • $100 provides one child with one week of quality before- and after-school child care
  • $250 supports one team to participate in YMCA youth sports or a teen to develop leadership skills
  • $500 strengthens a family with six months of membership
  • $1000 provides a child with a summer of camp fun
Would you like to be "arrested" for a good cause?  A minimal time investment will result in a big impact.  Contact Connie Chapman for more information.
