VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Saturday, April 6th the Luter Family YMCA is hosting the Smithfield Sprint Triathlon. Your investment of a few hours of volunteer time to help with the race will gain the Y a donation to benefit our Strong Communities financial assistance program.

Easter Egg Hunt & Breakfast with the Bunny - March 23
Bring your camera and join the Easter Bunny for the Easter Egg Hunt at 10:15 a.m. for children 4 and under; 10:30 a.m. for children 5 to 10 years old. FREE for all. Don't forget your Easter basket and Easter bonnet for the Easter bonnet contest!
Breakfast will available for $5.00 across the street at the VFW building from 8:30-10:00 a.m.
Spring Break Camp - April 1-5
Join the fun at the Y during Spring Break. School-age children participate in swimming, arts and crafts, games. and more! This is a great way to meet new friends and have fun in a safe, caring environment. Email Brandon Fry, Youth and Family Program Director for more information about Spring Break Camp.

Summer Day Camp
Fun! It's in our nature! Kids have the best summer at YMCA Summer Camp. Days are filled with swimming, arts and crafts, new games, nature exploration, sports, songs, field trips and much more. The program stresses socialization, self-confidence, and self-awareness, all presented around the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
Camp allows parents to work without worry while their children enjoy a summer experience that will last a lifetime.

Is your child a sports enthusiast? If so, they will enjoy the Y's specialty camps where we stress fair play, teamwork, self-confidence, socialization, and self-awareness. Our sports camp motto is "play hard, play fair, and everyone is a winner!"

| CAMP KEKOKA | | |
Camp Kekoka is located just outside of Kilmarnock on the
Chesapeake Bay. Over 1,000 feet of shoreline and 97 acres of woodlands that are perfect for exploration and challenges. Camp Kekoka is the Peninsula Metropolitan YMCA's residence camp serving boys and girls ages 8-15. Give your children or grandchildren the summer of a lifetime!
Kekoka Music Festival - Save the date - June 7-9
Let the sweet sounds of live music soothe your lyrical soul while you help give a child the summer of a lifetime. Proceeds from the music festival help fund scholarships for Camp Kekoka. Camping is available, pets and coolers are welcome. It's fun for the whole family! Click here for the weekend line-up and other information.

Thirty of your fellow Y members and community leaders have agreed to be "arrested" for the Y's Jail and Bail on March 28th. If you get a call for "bail," please consider helping us raise funds for the Strong Communities financial assistance campaign. The campaign allows us to open our doors and our hearts to those in need. Can you help? Here's what your gift can do for others:
- $1000 provides a child with a summer of camp fun.
- $500 strengthens a family with six months of
membership. - $250 supports one team to participate in YMCA youth sports or a teen to develop leadership skills.
- $100 provides one child with one week of quality before- and after-school child care.
- $50 raises a child's self-esteem through participation in a youth sport.
- $25 protects a child from harm by giving them a session of swim lessons.
