Daniel Wolpert, MA '87, founder of MICAH, Minnesota Institute of Contemplation and Healing, wrote a new book,
The Collapse of the Three Story Universe: Christianity in an Age of Science, which explores how God, can be "part of our material reality, the universe, in an manner that is both significant and consistent with what we currently understand about that reality." Paul Fugelsang, MA '05, recently launched Open Path Psychotherapy Collective, a nationwide nonprofit affordable mental healthcare initiative. Sponsored by the Foundation for Excellence in Mental Healthcare, Open Path is currently recruiting member clinicians who are in private practice around the country. Anna Kemble, MA '01, BC-DMT, MA, RCC, CLMA is in post-production now for her film The Moving Child: Supporting Early Development Through Movement. This film draws from Anna's 15 years of experience working with children through movement. Former Naropa faculty Susan Aposhyan and Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen are in the film. Agora offers numerous music, dancing, arts, poetry events. On Monday evenings, they offer a two-hour music and meditation experience guided by mellow, inspirational rhythms provided by some of Boulder's most seasoned musicians: Dexter Payne, (Naropa Faculty and Lionel Young) and John March (Boulder Blues Trio) on Guitar. Read more. Irini Rockwell, MA '90, and former faculty, offers Wisdom@Work, Natural Brilliance: Leading from Within, which offers a training and certificate in personality dynamics. They emphasize experiential learning with training in the contemplative practices of mindfulness, rousing compassion, and intuitive and emotional intelligence. Find out more about trainings offered. Sean K Morgan, non-degree '03, (a.k.a.) Morgan Hartwyld, announces the publication of the new album "Open the Roof to the Sky" a project some 2 years in the making, which he composed, engineered and produced. Naropa University is pleased to announce a new scholarship fund in honor of the university's founder, Venerable Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche. This is in conjunction with the panel discussion and book signing event by Judy Lief (see above).
