Luis Ramos

Hello Fellow Marists!

School is back on! As we begin to get used to the weekly grind of school, work and activities, let's not forget to take some time to step back. So often we get caught up in the "to-do" lists that we forget to reflect upon our experiences! My hope and prayer is that each of us can all find time to pause for a moment of peace.

During January, I find myself stepping back and reflecting on the many retreats that I experienced as a high school student. In particular, my Marist Youth Encounter helped me to become the Marist, Christian that I am today. This week, students from seven Marist schools are participating in an Encounter at the Marist Brothers' Center at Esopus. As you pause to reflect this weekend, please keep the next generation of Marist Young Adults in your prayers.

Keep working hard but remember to take a moment for yourself and for God.   And keep living Marist!

Chair, Marist Young Adults Advisory Committee

Well, we've got one more resolution to add to your list. It's one of the easiest things you'll do all year and it could help change the lives of the world's poorest people.
