Special Congratulations to the Mrs. Maria McGuire, the Director of our Theater Performances, who was nominated for the EXCELLENCE IN THEATRE EDUCATION AWARD presented by The Tony Awards® and Carnegie Mellon University. This honor was established in 2015 to celebrate the educators who transform lives through the power of the arts.

| 6th & 7th Grade Red Carpet Event | | |
The Catholic High School of Baltimore rolls out the red carpet on
Friday, March 18 for current sixth and seventh grade students at our opening night of the spring musical, Cinderella. Families should arrive at 6:00 for an hour of camaraderie, tours and refreshments. They will receive VIP seating, and have a chance to meet the cast and crew after the show!

There will be a free Tag Day for Field Day (March 17th) and to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day! The theme is green and usual dress code guidelines for Tag Days apply. Please wear comfortable shoes for Field Day.

On Monday, March 7th, Catholic High welcomed 15 alumnae to participate in Career Day. Thank you to all of our panelists and special thanks to our keynote speaker, Mrs. Pat McElroy, parent of alumna and TCHS Board Member.

This was the 1st National English Honor Society Inductions. We were honored to have Sister Corda Marie Bergbauer, past English and Theology teacher, join us and be recognized for the time she taught at Catholic High. Sister Corda Marie said to the students, "You too will leave Catholic High but may Catholic High never, ever leave you."

CRAB RAFFLE TICKETS
The Fathers' Club is currently selling CRAB RAFFLE TICKETS for a bushel of #1 crabs from a local vendor, two dozen ears of corn, one case of beer, one case of soda and a gift basket of accessories. The winner is usually drawn in mid-May at our last Fathers' Club meeting of the school year. Ten tickets have been provided to each student. The cost is $2.00 per ticket or 3 tickets for $5.00. Mrs. Suzy Maria may be contacted via e-mail for additional tickets and they will be sent home with your daughter.
