 thankyou1

Thank You!

Special thanks to the Innisfree Foundation for their recent and most generous support of the work of our Law Fellow, Pam Ende, and to 1675 Foundation for their renewed support of the Professional and Family Training Series (PFTS) that is part of our Outcomes in Behavioral Health Project. Led by Training Coordinator Alexandra Dolan, PFTS offered training programs to close to 2,200 service providers throughout the five-county area, helping them provide better care for children who have behavioral health needs, including those who are court-involved due to abuse and/or delinquency.

Support from the following foundations in our past fiscal year helped us training work grow by leaps and bounds: 1675 Foundation, Delaware County Community Foundation, The Pew Charitable Trusts, Phoenixville Community Health Foundation, and the George W. Rentschler Foundation.

We cannot thank these organizations enough!

 staff

Meet the Staff!

Chaneil joined Child Advocates a year ago as the Administrative Assistant to our Social Workers and Staff Attorneys. Before joining Child Advocates, Chaneil worked as a therapeutic staff support (TSS) worker helping children with behavioral health needs. She often made trips to our office to consult with our staff on her cases and admired our mission and knew that this was an agency where she could make an impact.

Chaneil plays an in integral role at Child Advocates, scheduling team meetings between social workers and volunteer attorneys, retrieving archived data for case handlers and acting as a liaison for volunteers and their cases. She also just completed a three-hour course to become a Notary Public!

Due to her various roles here at Child Advocates, she has the unique opportunity of interacting with our entire staff. She loves coming into the office each day and being surrounded by co-workers who discuss social work policy and child welfare law.

On weekends, Chaneil loves to read and enjoy the outdoors. Whether it's going on long bike rides, camping or going to the beach with friends, Chaneil loves being outside, traveling and simply exploring all that Philadelphia has to offer.

Thank you Chaneil, for all that you do!
