Meet Our Volunteer Attorney Brett Wolfson
Brett Wolfson, a partner at Rawle and Henderson, has been a volunteer attorney for Child Advocates for almost five years. After attending a training in 2009 Brett was eager to join our team and take a case representing a child in need.
Brett heard about our agency over the years from lawyers who volunteer with us, and knew this was work he also wanted to do.
"I felt it was my obligation to use my training skills to help people less fortunate and unable to help themselves. If we are to improve society, the most important place to start is with youth, and try to offer them better resources and opportunities."
Brett feels his role as a volunteer at Child Advocates has been professionally challenging and personally fulfilling, and, he has found that working with our staff is rewarding and inspiring.
"It must not go without saying that I have worked with some wonderful people employed by Child Advocates, without whom it would not be possible for me to comprehend the system we have, the many resources available, and my role as a Child Advocate."
In his downtime, Brett enjoys running, softball, biking, racquetball and tennis. In fact, he has participated in the Philadelphia Bar Association 5K Run benefiting Child Advocates for the last 14 years! He loves the culture, culinary choices and architecture of Philadelphia, and of course our Philly sports teams! Brett also loves to travel and enjoys live theater and music. Thank you for all you do, Brett!
