We are especially proud to announce our new Executive Committee. Congratulations to Mark Gittelman (PNC Bank National Association), Board President; Matt Siegel (Cozen O'Connor), Vice President; Beth Hanssens (PBS KIDS Sprout), Treasurer; and Nicole A. Friant (Duane Morris), Secretary.

Many thanks to all of our departing Board members this year, we are deeply appreciative of your service and advocacy. A special thank you goes to Katayun Jaffari, outgoing Child Advocates President, who served tirelessly on our Board from 2004-2013.

Meet Cate Galbally:
Development Officer, Corporate Relations
and Special Events

Development Officer Cate Galbally joined the Child Advocates team 9 months ago. A seasoned fundraiser and event planner, Cate comes to Child Advocates after working for Rock School for Dance and WOMEN'S WAY, where she ran the very successful "Powerful Voice" Awards."

Cate oversees all Child Advocates special events and is responsible for raising close to $800,000 a year.  She manages corporate relations, working with area law firm and companies to secure sponsorships and create partnerships.

Throughout the year Cate plans the Philadelphia Bar Association 5K Run, Annual Benefit Reception and Auction, our annual Golf Classic and the Holiday Toy Drive.  When asked which is her favorite event she replied "I don't have a favorite, they're all fun in their own way."  However, we should note that the biggest event Cate is planning is her upcoming wedding to her incredible fiancé Dave Hoffman.

Cate is a Philly native, attending high school in Chestnut Hill and graduating from University of Pennsylvania.  In her spare time she spends time at the shore with family and friends. Cate loves running, trying new restaurants and visiting the many art museums and galleries around the city.

Say "Hi!" to Cate at any of our annual events!
