If it's summer, it's Taste of Chicago - the world's largest FREE food festival. Enjoy delicious eats from 69 restaurants and food trucks plus celebrity chefs, cooking demonstrations, family fun and music by The Roots, Kongos, Elle King, The Decemberists, Billy Idol, The Isley Brothers featuring Ronald and Ernie Isley, Sheila E and more. More information including ticket sales for concert seating and the Celebrity Chef du Jour are at tasteofchicago.us.

Plus SummerDance in the Parks
Celebrating 20 years of FREE music and dancing downtown and in the parks, Chicago SummerDance brings people of all ages and skill levels together on a 4,900-square-foot, open-air dance floor. The series offers introductory one-hour dance lessons by professional instructors followed by live music and dancing, and the diverse lineup showcases various traditional and modern dance styles from all corners of the globe. Help us pick the flick for Millennium Park Summer Film Series finale
Chicagoans and visitors alike are invited to vote for their favorite Chicago-made film -- to be screened at the finale of the popular Millennium Park Summer Film Series which runs Tuesdays, June 21-August 30, at 6:30pm. Voting is now open online at chifilmfave.org (and on-site at the Summer Film Series), and ends August 16. The top vote-getter will be announced on August 23, and screened on Tuesday, August 30, at 6:30pm.
