The Farmers Markets season has arrived. Chicago Farmers Markets presented by COUNTRY Financial will once again sell healthy, fresh and local products throughout Chicago's neighborhoods. The kick-off is Thursday, May 12, at Daley Plaza, with music and free reusable bags featuring the winning Chicago Public Schools student design. May/June Preview Events for Chicago Gospel Music and Blues Festivals
Leading up to the June festivals, don't miss the schedule of preview events showcasing Chicago Gospel and Blues music talent. Several events take place at the Chicago Cultural Center, with others happening at the Sulzer Regional Library, Woodson Regional Library and Harold Washington Library. Taste of Chicago Petrillo Music Shell Tickets on Sale Now!
Don't miss what Chicago Magazine is calling this Summer's best music festival! Tickets are on sale for the seating area at Taste of Chicago concerts. Headliners include The Roots (July 6, Presented by Illinois Lottery), Kongos (July 7), The Decemberists (July 8, Presented by 93XRT), Billy Idol (July 9, Presented by Bud Light) and The Isley Brothers featuring Ronald and Ernie Isley (July 10).
