The Farmers Markets season has arrived. Chicago Farmers Markets presented by COUNTRY Financial will once again sell healthy, fresh and local products throughout Chicago's neighborhoods. The kick-off is Thursday, May 12, at Daley Plaza, with music and free reusable bags featuring the winning Chicago Public Schools student design. A complete list of city-run and independent markets, along with dates and times can be found at chicagofarmersmarkets.us.

May/June Preview Events for Chicago Gospel Music and Blues Festivals
Leading up to the June festivals, don't miss the schedule of preview events showcasing Chicago Gospel and Blues music talent. Several events take place at the Chicago Cultural Center, with others happening at the Sulzer Regional Library, Woodson Regional Library and Harold Washington Library. There is more information on the Chicago Gospel Music Festival and Chicago Blues Festival websites.
