NYWIFT's One Day Production Workshop for Girls and Women of Immigrant Backgrounds
Saturday, May 21st, 10am-6pm
Third World Newsreel will be teaching a free one-day production workshop in Maspeth, Queens, on Saturday, May 21st for girls and women who are immigrants or first-generation Americans. This workshop is sponsored by New York Women in Film and Television (NYWIFT), as part of their Cultural Immigrant Initiative, Women Directors: Sharing Immigrant Experiences Through Film

Participants will learn the basics of documentary story telling and production. Over the course of the one-day workshop, the group will make a short documentary that will be screened at the Onderdonk House in Ridgewood on June 16.

Third World Newsreel Youth Media Internship 
TWN is looking for interns as part of its Youth Media Internship Program. The organization trains college and high school students in three areas of the media industry: digital video post production, film acquisitions, and film distribution & marketing.
