Art in the Landscape: Vermont. Sculpture. Everywhere.

Vermont's spectacular natural surroundings provide the ideal backdrop for contemporary sculpture. The juxtaposition of outdoor art and the physical landscape creates exhilarating tension and breathtaking magic. Two shows opening on July 23 effectively demonstrate this dynamic pairing.

"Colletta Caotico," by Taylor Apostol, part of the North Bennington Outdoor Sculpture Show.
The opening for "Exposed," Helen Day Art Center's annual outdoor sculpture show, will include an evening walking tour with artist talks at stops along the way. A reception at the North Bennington Sculpture Park will highlight the art featured in the "19th Annual North Bennington Outdoor Sculpture Show."

There are many other scenic locations to view outdoor sculpture. In Northern Vermont, visit Cold Hollow Sculpture Park in Enosburg Falls.
