Newton Wellesley Hospital ~ Bowles Conference Room #2 2014 Washington Street Newton, MA 02566 MS Support group is for all stages of MS. The goal will be peer support and a very positive approach to all stages of MS. Please go to the Main building (ask the receptionist at the the info desk for directions) to MS Support - Bowles Conference Room #2. This group meets the first Tuesday of every month.

"Clinic for Women with MS Health Issues" by Maria Houtchens, MD.
This is for women with MS who would like to come and safely talk about their issues, including menopause, pregnancy planning, pregnancy management, nursing, etc,. Dr. Maria Houtchens will be there primarily to consult on these specific issues and related MS treatments, she will not be taking the place of your current Neurologist.
How to set up an appointment? The patient would need to call MS Center and tell them they are interested in seeing Dr. Houtchens for a visit in her Women's Health Program Clinic, they have MS and want to discuss specific issues pertaining to women's health. Women's Health visit slots are every other Thursday afternoons (12/9/10 and 12/23/10)

This group is for men who have MS, in their 40s & 50s, are not working, and receive disability benefits. The group meets monthly at a restaurant accessible to Rt. 128 & Mass Pike. The group is led by Dr. Rintell. For info, contact (617) 525-6550,
This group is a monthly support group for individuals who have MS, but have a difficult time with transportation due to their MS. Participants call-in from their own homes. A toll-free number is provided. The group meets the first Wednesday of the month from 10 - 11 AM. The group is led by Audrey Cecil LICSW. For info call Ms. Cecil at 617-525-6550.

This group is a monthly support group for spouses, partners, family members, and people with MS. It meets on the fourth Thursday of the month, from 5 - 6:30 PM, in Framingham, MA, at the School of Nursing Building of MetroWest Medical Center, Lincoln Street, Framingham, MA. The first 3 miles are narrow, hilly, winding tree shaded roads,
while the last 4 miles are open on the flat right next to Martha's
Vineyard Sound. A small steep
hill lets you know that you are
beginning the last half-mile of
the race. Once you crest the
hill it is "all downhill" to the finish.
