 "Clinic for Women with MS Health Issues" by Maria Houtchens, MD.
This is for women with MS who would like to come and safely talk about their issues, including menopause, pregnancy planning, pregnancy management, nursing, etc,. Dr. Maria Houtchens  will be there primarily to consult on these specific issues and related MS treatments, she will not be taking the place of your current Neurologist. 

How to set up an appointment? The patient would need to call MS Center and tell them they are interested in seeing Dr. Houtchens for a visit in her Women's Health Program Clinic, they have MS and want to discuss specific issues pertaining to women's health. Women's Health visit slots are every other Thursday afternoons (12/9/10 and 12/23/10)

MS At Home (Telephone Support Group) by Audrey Cecil, LICSW
This group is a monthly support group for individuals who have MS, but have a difficult time with transportation due to their MS. Participants call-in from their own homes. A toll-free number is provided. The group meets the first Wednesday of the month from 10 - 11 AM. The group is led by Audrey Cecil LICSW. For info call Ms. Cecil at 617-525-6550.
Caregivers/Family Members Group I  by Audrey Cecil LICSW
Audrey Cecil LICSW and Dr. Bonnie Glanz will be facilitating a monthly support group for MS caregivers and family members. This group is a monthly support group for spouses, partners, family members, and people with MS. Mount Kilimanjaro 7/10/11

This Multiple Sclerosis Climb is organized by Lori Schneider, MS Patient and Empowerment Through Adventure (ETA) Founder, in conjunction with world renowned climbing company, Alpine Ascents International (AAI).
Our Mt. Kilimanjaro Leap of Faith climb consists of 14 climbers with MS, paired with 14 'companion climbers' who will support and assist the MS climbers on a one-to-one basis. Additional medical support team members will be provided as well. (Total of a 32 member team).

Join "TEAM MS CURE" as they run the 7 mile seashore road race.
  

The first 3 miles are narrow, hilly, winding tree shaded roads,

while the last 4 miles are open on the flat right next to Martha's

Vineyard Sound. A small steep

hill  lets you know that you are

beginning the last half-mile of

the race. Once you crest the

hill it is "all downhill" to the finish.

 

Minimum to raise = $1K
