Now in its 21st year of production, the COLLAGE DENTON DANCE FESTIVAL series has brought hundreds of dance artists to the stage, performing new and innovative choreo-graphy to hungry dance audiences! Local and regional companies that have been presented in-clude Ft. Worth Dallas Ballet (now Texas Ballet Theatre), Dallas Black Dance Theatre, Contemporary Dance Fort Worth, Ballet Concerto, Tuzer Ballet, Muscle Memory Dance Theatre, Cholorock, Festival Ballet of North Central Texas, and others! Guest choreographers have included James Clouser, Tauna Hunter, Thom Clower, Janice La Pointe Krump, and others, as well as guest performers Comfort Fedoke and Chris Koehl, both finalists on "So You Think You Can Dance." As part of the Denton City Contemporary Ballet's community enrichment plan, the COLLAGE DENTON DANCE FESTIVAL gives the Denton community and local/regional dance companies a chance to exchange ideas and bring dance enthusiasts together in an intimate setting.
