Door/Kewaunee Legislative Days
2015 Details Announced

Save the date! The seventh biennial Door/Kewaunee Legislative Days in Madison is confirmed for Wednesday and Thursday, April 15-16. The purpose of Legislative Days is to educate state officials about Door and Kewaunee Counties, and to lobby for state action to help address local issues and concerns. This year's events are building directly on the success of prior Legislative Days events, which brought the specific concerns of the community directly to elected representatives and influential government appointees.

A volunteer committee is working to develop the 2015 legislative and state agency agenda topics and issues that will be presented in Madison. To provide input for the 2015 agenda, visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2015LegDays  or contact Legislative Days Agenda Committee Chair, Rob Burke at 920-746-2260.

For those delegates with limited time, the main events are scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, when delegates will call on state legislators in the afternoon and enjoy a reception featuring a showcase of local Door and Kewaunee County foods, and entertainment from Rogue Theater with legislators and guests that evening. The remainder of the two-day event will be reserved for visiting state officials and selected state agencies. Door/Kewaunee Legislative Days will again be headquartered at the Inn on The Park hotel on Capitol Square in downtown Madison.

Door/Kewaunee Legislative Days is planned and executed by a volunteer Steering Committee. If you are interested in volunteering to help with the planning of Legislative Days 2015, please contact Jennifer Brown (920-487-5233 or brownjk@kcedc.org) or Bill Chaudoir (920-743-3113 x203 or bill@doorcountybusiness.com).
