We were overwhelmed by the response to our 25th anniversary annual meeting this year! We shoehorned about 400 community and business leaders into the DCEDC annual investors meeting on Monday, April 14, at the Stone Harbor Resort and Conference Center in Sturgeon Bay, making it by far the largest annual meeting in DCEDC history. Keynote speaker Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker discussed his "Blueprint for Prosperity." Hatco Corporation was named the Door County Industry of the Year, and AJ Frank, owner of Door County Trolley, received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award. The luncheon meeting included Executive Director Bill Chaudoir's report to the community about the activities and accomplishments of DCEDC during 2013 and a summary of the organization's 25-year history of service to the Door County community.
