Summer is coming to a close and autumn weather is on the way. However, this change in seasons doesn't mean that proper water management practices should end, too. Here are four ways to use Hydretain during the end of summer to help prepare for the fall.

Overseeding, Hydroseeding, and Sodding
Our main goal when overseeding and hydroseeding is helping seed to germinate and become established as quickly as possible. With cool weather on the way, the faster seedlings become established, the better chance they have of making it through the long, cold winter. When looking at cool season turf, it is important for these grasses to establish deep, dense root mass to sustain itself through the winter. Using Hydretain when seeding and overseeing can result in increased germination rates of seed and faster establishment of seedlings and sod, all while using less water. Establishment of new turf and root growth are enhanced by keeping more water available for the developing roots.
