The office of Senator Judi Buckley is teaming up with the USVI Department of Tourism for their kickoff event "Let's Clean Up Our Act!"
Saturday, May 4, from 7:00 - 11:00 a.m

On Saturday, the DOT has organized a territory-wide clean-up effort and campaign to instill pride in Virgin Islanders to keep our islands clean. The clean-up event will kick-off National Tourism Week May 4-12, 2013
Our office is asking for volunteers to join us on Saturday at
Zone 4 Rohlsen Airport Road (Rte 64) from 7am to 11am.
We will meet up with the zone coordinator at West Airport Rd.
The DOT and other partners will have the necessary tools (rakes, garbage bags and gloves) for the clean-up teams. Each volunteer will also receive a special Tourism pack which includes a commemorative t-shirt, snacks and recyclable water bottle.
On St. Croix, clean up and beautification zones are at the following locations:
- Zone 1: Frederiksted Town (Meets at Buddhoe Emancipation Park)
- Zone 2: Vincent Mason Pool to the Frederiksted Fish Market
(Meets at Vincent Mason Pool) - Zone 3: Christiansted (Meets at Sunday Market Square)
- Zone 4: Airport Road (Meets at West Airport Road)
What to wear/bring:
- Long pants, close toed shoes & a hat
- Sunscreen
- Gloves (if you have them)
