We have a full selection of capris, crops and bermuda shorts now, so we wanted to share some fit tips and tricks for getting the best style for your body type.
Capri pants fall from anywhere below the calf to above the ankle and tend to be a slimmer fit. Bermudas are a type of short with the hem landing just above or below the knee.

Proportion Petites |
All through spring and summer our women, especially our petite ladies, come into the store with the thought that they are too short to wear capris. Taller, larger ladies also have concerns with choosing the right cut for them. We want you to set these concerns aside and come play with us. KC's Boutique brings in so many flattering styles; there is one for you!

Renuar

The most flattering cropped hem cut has a tapered shape and straight leg. Jacqueline Kennedy and Audrey Hepburn may come to mind as you consider this pant.
If you are playing it safe, choose a skinny, slim or tapered (not wide, nor super tapered) leg that ends above the thinnest part of the ankles. Pair the capri with a heel if you are looking to slim down your ankles and calves and to make yourself look taller.

JAG

If you are wearing flat shoes, try a more pointed shoe style that will give you a bit more height. This trick is helpful for petite ladies as well.
If you have more muscular legs or/and thick calves, never end the hemline at the widest part of your leg.

If you are heavier and feel that a tapered capri makes your hip and thighs look bigger, try to balance it with a straight leg as opposed to tapered cut.
Right now at KC's, we have JAG Crops with a tapered leg, roll-up cuff in taupe and white for that boyfriend casual look.
