As we begin a new calendar year, we enter the second half of our fiscal year, which runs from July through June.  So we thought it an apt moment to give you a brief update on our finances. 

 

Below are the income numbers through the end of December 2015. 

 

Pledges           $101,546.00 - 48.62% of budgeted - right on target

Gifts                $1,311.00 - 187% of budgeted  

 

Thanks to your continuing to make UUCW a priority, we are on target with most major sources of income!

 

At its monthly meeting this week, the Board of Management took up the issue of fundraising and is working with the Minister, Staff and Leadership to reform our plan for this spring.  Two major fundraisers have had to be revised.  We were informed earlier this month that the Annual Service Auction will not happened as planed and that the Gourmet Dinner will be moved to Fall 2016.  This reality leaves us with about $8100 to raise along with other fundraisers already planned.  A Gourmet Pasta Dinner with Item Raffle and other amenities is in the works to help resolve our fundraising gap.  Please stay tuned for more information to come! 

 

Also, mark your calendars for our March 6 kick off of the 2016 Stewardship Campaign!!  Last year was a great success and we hope to make this year's campaign a roaring good time!
