Last spring, the Committee on Ministry led our congregation's effort to conduct an evaluation of our minister, Rev. Aaron Payson.  Along with representatives from the Board of Management and the general congregation, several members of the COM reviewed the minister's self-evaluation and completed their own extensive evaluation of the minister's performance. After many hours of review and discussion, a report was written and presented to the minister.  Then, a small group met with the minister and discussed the evaluation focusing on those areas that the evaluators felt needed additional attention.  

The goal of the evaluation was to provide the minister with a meaningful process to establish realistic goals for the coming year.  Although, the evaluation is a personnel matter and therefore is confidential, the overall evaluation was very positive regarding the minister's performance of his duties and responsibilities.  We are fortunate to have such a dedicated, dynamic, skilled minister as Aaron.
