Women in Ag
Farm Bureau Survey Results

Communicating effectively, establishing and achieving goals and strategic planning ranked highest on a list of important leadership skills for women in agriculture to master, according to a new Farm Bureau survey.

On Saturday, April 18, Beta Xi Chapter had a Basket Auction to raise money for Illinois Ag in the Classroom (IAITC). Small groups of sisters teamed up to create baskets for the auction. There was also a RSO competition where clubs from the ISU Agriculture Department donated baskets, and the club whose basket went for the most money received $100 toward their philanthropy. The 4th annual auction was very successful, and the chapter was able to donate $2,575 to IAITC.
