Recent Work
We just wrapped up a great summer--here's a look at some recent work. Please feel free to share, and thanks for looking! -AP
UP Travel Cover
Travel Campaign-Upper Peninsula Travel
Summer 2012 saw the roll out of a multi-year, four-season campaign I shot for the Upper Peninsula Travel and Recreation Association via the Perry Ballard agency. The "Choose Your Path" campaign features point of view photography of outdoor recreation.
  • "We went through two other photographers who could not grasp the idea of our campaign.  Then we came to Aaron who not only knew immediately what we were trying to do, but added to the creative discussion of our campaign.  Our campaign has now evolved to focus more on the concept which is delivered in the photography rather than using the photography as part of the concept."

-Patrick Bosse, Media Director, Perry Ballard Incorporated

Wenonah Canoes
2012 Catalog--Wenonah Canoe
I provided cover and inside images from locations in Canada, Michigan and Minnesota for the 2012 Wenonah Canoe catalog.
  • "Wenonah Canoe has had a long standing relationship with Aaron, and for good reason!  Every year when we come asking for something new and fresh, he delivers.  Such a laid back easy guy to work with, and the photos are always money.  Our catalogs are viewed as some of the best creative works in the industry, and Aaron plays a huge part in that."

-Jake Greseth, Creative and Marketing Director, Wenonah Canoe

Marquette County Cover
Regional Rebranding--Marquette County, Michigan
The Marquette Country Convention and Visitors Bureau is using my images in a rebranding effort that focuses on active outdoor travel. Marquette is a small college town on Lake Superior with 6 beaches, 4 bike shops and 3 craft breweries. It's a great place to live and work.
  • "Contracting with Aaron has made an incredible difference in the time it takes for me to produce ads and print media.  Having one source to pull photos from has increased our efficiency and creativity.  This has been a win/win relationship."

-Pat Black, Director, MCCVB

PDN Great Outdoors Contest Win
Contest Win--Photo District News
My image of sea kayaking along the icy shore of Lake Superior was chosen as a winner in the Photo District News 2012 Great Outdoors photography contest in August.

This was my first contest entry, and I'm proud to show off the outdoor opportunities of the Lake Superior region in an international contest with other winning entries from folks like Jimmy Chin, Kevin Arnold and Woods Wheatcroft.

Thanks to PDN and the judges.
