                 UPDATE ON CANADIAN

BILATERAL AGREEMENT  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We received word from the USDA that discussions continue on when the WPM bi-lateral agreement between the U.S.A. and Canada should be dissolved. At this point, an agreement is not expected before the end of this year. Since both parties agree that there should be at least a one year transition period before full implementation should occur, the soonest this could happen is January of 2015. We will continue to monitor this situation and keep you up-to-date as more information comes out.

     TP PRODUCT LOCATOR IS A GREAT RESOURCE

 

 

 

 

 

TP's website has an excellent resource for those companies using softwood lumber in the production of their WPM. It is called the "Product Locator" and is found in the upper right corner of our Home Page. Simply click on the "Product Locator" tab and complete the form located on this page. Hit the "submit" button and a list of facilities that carry the material you are looking for will come up. If you have any questions on how to use this valuable resource please let us know.
