We are excited to kick off September with the return of Richard M. "Dick" Weber, MBA, CLU, AEP (Distinguished). Dick spoke to a packed room at the January joint NAIFA/SFSP luncheon about Glenn Neasham and his arrest and conviction for selling an annuity to a senior citizen in California. I am pleased to announce that Society will be sponsoring our third consecutive CLU class in the fall! I am thrilled that Charlie Calderwald has agreed to teach again for us. Thank you both to Charlie and to Bill Swalick who taught our spring class and of course Rosanne Kaufmann who made the classes possible. I am so profoundly honored to serve as President this year and I want to thank each of you who have been members of the Houston Chapter and have served the organization so well over the years.
