The Society started off with a great luncheon in September. Leonard Weiner and Larry Smith, two of our own, gave us a great presentation on the "Nirvana Trust". Leonard certainly made the case we truly have a once in a lifetime opportunity to help our clients take advantage of the current estate tax and gifting laws as they currently read before the end of the year. We each need to be diligently talking to our clients before the law changes.

This is also the last newsletter you will receive prior to our Presidential election. I know it sounds trite to say, but I do believe this is one of the most important elections of our lifetime. I encourage everyone to exercise your right and vote. All too often we take for granted this incredible privilege afforded to us by our heritage. It is truly a right to cherish and take very responsibly.

I also want to thank Rosanne Kaufmann for the yeoman's work she has put into bringing the American College to HCC. This is so exciting as it will hopefully prove to be a pipeline to new members who aspire to this profession. Thank you Rosanne.
