Car Crazy: The Battle for Supremacy Between Ford and Olds and the Dawn of the Automobile Age
by G. Wayne Miller
They called Henry Ford a maniac. General Motors was given no chance. Inside Olds, a merciless war raged. Auto racing was a true blood sport. And all of America was CAR CRAZY. Rhode Island Author G. Wayne Miller takes us back to when the motorcar was new, paved roads few, and devotees of this unregulated technology battled with citizens who thought the motor vehicle a dangerous scourge that was shattering a more peaceful way of life. As the machine transformed culture, corporate battles transformed the economic landscape.

These 22 pretty and wickedly convention-defying word search puzzles span a wide range of visuals, rules and themes. We don't want to say too much and spoil it for you, but you'll find puzzles that: use both sides of the page, require folding, test your knowledge, don't use words, are layered, make you think three-dimensionally, and hide the names of 231 subway stations from 48 cities around the world. It may take you 48 international flights to finish that one. (Airfare not included.)

Spinning Through Warm Air
Poems by Kathleen Pesta
"Spinning Through Warm Air" is a debut collection of 41 poems which invites the reader to take a closer look at the everyday moments of life. A long, frigid winter, a stop behind a yellow school bus, a reflection on what can erode a marriage and a memory of first love, as well as the struggle to live in grace and harmony with the question of Otherness, all encourage readers to look at their own world and to see that there is more there than they may have realized. Ultimately uplifting, but never sentimental, these poems pay tribute to the beauty of the ordinary.
