Spring 2014 Class Rosters

Real time class rosters are available online through MySuffolk. You can view students who are waitlisted or who have dropped or withdrawn from your course. Student rosters can be viewed with a student profile picture when accessing your account on campus.

To view your rosters:

  • Login to MySuffolk and chose the Faculty tab.
  • Select "Class Roster" from the left hand navigation.
  • Select term date of the roster (14/SP) and click submit.
Students are not permitted to sit in a class if they are not officially enrolled.  If a student is missing from your roster please refer student to the Registrar's Office.

Course Add

Override:
  • Closed courses*
  • Prerequisites:  Faculty have a responsibility to follow departmental practices when overriding a course prerequisite and should consult with their Department Chairperson for any questions regarding these exceptions.  Procedures may vary across departments and/or courses depending on the prerequisites(s).  The Undergraduate Academic Advising Center can assist a faculty member with determining the validity of the student's specific request but will not make a final decision on access to the course.
Approvals can be given by signing an add/drop or late registration form or by sending an email to reg@suffolk.edu.  If sending an approval email, the student needs to contact the Office of the Registrar to be added to the class.

*When overriding course capacities, it is important to refer to your waitlist to monitor enrollment and room capacities.

Add/Drop & WaitLists

Students have the ability to place themselves on a course waitlist during registration.  Once a student is give permission from the Registrar's Office to register for a waitlisted course, they must do so within 24 hours.  If they do not register, students lose their spot on the waitlist and the next student is given permission to register.

Tuesday, January 21 is the last day the registration system will allow students to add a course from a waitlist.

As of Wednesday, January 22 students will need instructor

approval to add courses.

Monday, January 27 is the last day for add/drop and late registration.

Students may withdraw from a course without a grade of a W by Tuesday, February 11.

Track Last Date of Attendance

To be in compliance with the Department of Education, a last date of attendance is required for all students who stop attending a course.  Keep the last date of attendance on record for each student who stops attending class as it will be required for end of term grading.
