Spring 2013 Class Rosters

Real time class rosters are available online through MySuffolk. You can view students who are waitlisted or who have dropped or withdrawn from your course. Student rosters can be viewed with a student profile picture when accessing your account on campus.

To view your rosters:

  • Login to MySuffolk and chose the Faculty tab.
  • Select "Class Roster" from the left hand navigation.
  • Select term date of the roster (13/SP) and click submit.
Students are not permitted to sit in a class if they are not officially enrolled.  If a student is missing from your roster please refer student to the Registrar's Office.

Reasons to Sign Add/Drop Forms

Override:
  • Waitlisted/Closed courses
  • Time Conflict (requires signature from both instructors)
  • Prerequisites that the student has not completed (for CAS students only)

SBS faculty may not override prerequisites. Students must obtain the following approvals:

  • SBS Undergraduate students need Dean's Office approval.
  • SBS Graduate students need Program Director's approval.

When overriding course capacities, it is important to refer to your waitlist to monitor enrollment and room capacities.

Add/Drop & WaitLists

Students have the ability to place themselves on a course waitlist during registration.

Friday, January 18 is the last day that Course Section waitlists will be run.

As of Wednesday, January 23, students will need instructor

approval to add courses.

Monday, January 28 is the last day for add/drop and late registration.

Students may withdraw from a course without a grade by Tuesday, February 12.

Expiration of Incomplete Grades

As defined in the academic catalog, only in the case of outstanding course work may a student receive a grade of INC. DO NOT make arrangements to issue an INC grade if the student must repeat the course in a future semester.

"I" (incomplete) grades issued in Spring 2012 will convert to a grade of "F*" on Monday, May 6, 2013. The Office of the Registrar will send email reminders to faculty and students who have issued or received "I" grades in mid-February.
