Our Business Services team hosts hiring events which are industry-specific or can be customized for your business. If you are sourcing multiple positions, we can pre-screen candidates that match your requirements, allowing you to interview the best possible candidates. From July 2012 to March 2013, our Business Services team hosted 62 hiring events and placed 365 people into employment.

Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) Saved Florida Employers Over $200 Million! |

The Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) is a federal income tax credit available to employers encouraging the hiring of individuals from targeted groups of jobseekers who have difficulty finding employment. Florida's electronic WOTC system, allows employers to save time and money by eliminating the requirement for paper copies of applications and documentation. The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity's (DEO) secure online application process reduced the application processing time for the majority of applications from one week to 24 hours.
Since the inception of the WOTC electronic system in 2010, 83,869 certifications have been approved across the State of Florida. This has resulted in a cost and time savings of $201,285,600 for Florida employers. The U.S. Department of Labor has a calculator that will estimate your WOTC tax savings based on the selected targeted group of job seekers and the amount of hours worked.
