Women's Earnings in Florida

Considering that we are in the talent sourcing business, we didn't find the most recent report on women's earnings by the Bureau of Labor Statistics surprising. According to this report, Florida women working full-time in 2011 had median weekly earnings of $668, or 83.8 percent of the $797 median weekly wages for their male counterparts. That was the second highest ratio reported in Florida since 1997 and the ratio nationwide was similar at 82.2 percent ($684 for women verses $832 for men). Read more>
