Good Afternoon,
AIA Cleveland would like to remind you that our Women in Architecture lecture by Susan Skarsgard takes place next Wednesday the 29th as the culminating event of Women in Architecture month. Registration is required and space is limited. This is a terrific opportunity to network with peers and to celebrate equity, diversity, and inclusion. In addition we are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the Michael Ford | Hip Hop Architecture lecture in April. A week after his visit to Cleveland, Michael will be appearing at the AIA National conference as one of the Keynote Speakers. These two design lectures reinforce our commitment to provide valuable programming to our members and to continue to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion. This week concludes with our monthly happy hour networking event on Friday which will be held at Masthead Brewing Company. Please consider attending and bringing a co-worker, friend, or colleague who is one of the design professions.

One of AIA Cleveland's critical missions is advocacy for the well-being of our local community, and one of the most important issues we face as a city and a region is planning for sustainable communities. Planning and zoning issues are at the forefront of this discussion and we are pleased to bring you a three-part series of articles, which are the outgrowth of a conversation that I've been having with David Ellison, AIA about the future of Cleveland and the challenges and opportunities that we presently face.
Please click on the image above or THIS LINK to read the first part of this three-part article.
