Dear fellow traveling families,

In this early summer newsletter, we turn the focus to one of the most exciting destinations in the world, and soon to be newest Quivertree destination - Brazil! Gideon explored the South and West of the country in depth earlier this year, and now reports back:

BRAZIL - a marvel waiting to be explored!

Brazil is an enigma to many people  - it's a vast country, and yet not very well known to most travelers outside of Latin America.

This last May, I visited the world famous sights of Rio and Iguassu Falls, and in addition, I experienced two wonders that are practically unknown to North Americans:

1) The Pantanal - a vast and wild safari region - think jaguars, giant ant eaters, capybaras, caimans and more, where you explore the wilderness on horseback and jeep;
AND
2) Bonito, the eco-adventure capital of Brazil that is packed with adventures. Imagine snorkeling in crystal clear rivers with thousands of fish, or rappelling into a huge cave and snorkeling by the light of a flashlight!

The Blue Grotto (above) in Bonito is a natural phenomenon. Thanks to Daniel de Granville:Photo in Natura for the great photo.
The Iguassu Falls (below) are simply unforgettable!!

And this is just the tip of the iceberg, as Brazil is the size of the Continental USA. Brazil is ideal for family and adult travel alike, and I am thrilled to be working on unforgettable adventures that will go live in September 2016!"

(Photo's 1-3 & 5-6 below are provided by my good friend and great photographer Daniel de Granville of Photo In Natura).

1) Snorkeling with fish - Bonito!
2) Macaws - Bonito

3) On safari - Pantanal.

Photos from recent Quivertree trips around the world
As always, Quivertree families have been very busy recently traveling to all corners of the world. Here are some recent trip photos!

Olivia and Elise, seen below with a giant Galapagos tortoise, were in Ecuador with their parents, Troy and Amy. Amy told us: "I just want to let you know that we had the most fabulous trip ever! The people, food, and beauty of Ecuador and especially San Cristobal in the Galapagos, and the Andean region on the mainland were nothing short of amazing. We are already talking about where to go on our next trip!"

In a truly multigenerational trip, Diane went with her sister Jan, her daughter Gail, and granddaughter Sophia to Costa Rica. Here is the happy foursome rafting while below Sophia is zip lining above the canopy! Diane said of the trip: "The trip was fantastic and we 4 cannot thank you enough! Costa Rica is beautiful and the people are so very friendly. We are already thinking where you can send us next!"

Kai (above) enjoyed being bathed by an elephant in India, while Jinny took her grandkids Ally, Naomi and Shannon to Ecuador and the Galapagos. Next up for Jinny is South East Asia in December!

Jinny and her grandkids in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres in Ecuador!
