Dear fellow traveling families,

A strong US dollar means fantastic travel value!

After an incredibly busy summer, we are now hard at work on December and Spring vacations.

The big news is that the US dollar remains very strong, and so our US based families are in the enviable position of being able to choose from multiple luxury destinations that are effectively ON SALE!

Australia and New Zealand have seen their currency drop sharply over the past few months meaning excellent value. South Africa's currency is trading close to an all time low, and South East Asia, India and Indonesia also offer tremendous luxury at very affordable prices. So if you've been thinking about an exotic family vacation, now's the time to put that thought into action!

Australia is now on sale!

Kayaking the incredible Tasman Glacier in New Zealand!

Having just returned from Europe, it's amazing how affordable France has become. France is the premier destination in Europe with its wonderful medieval villages and castles, world renowned food, and the capital, Paris, one of the truly great cities in the world. With the Euro trading so low against the US dollar, not only France, but also Italy and Spain are extremely attractive destinations.

Kayaking down to the 2,000 year old Pont Du Gard in France is unique.

So take advantage of this terrific opportunity and ask us about travel to any of these fabulous value destinations! Now is a great time to start planning for Christmas/New Year, Spring and Summer 2016!

Sarlat in the Dordogne region of France is a perfect French medieval town.

Photos from recent Quivertree trips around the world
This past summer Quivertree families were very busy recently traveling to all corners of the world. Here are some trip photos!

Neil, Stephen and Jose (above) were in Peru. They swam with sea lions in Lima, climbed up to Machu Picchu and enjoyed local experiences in the Sacred Valley!
Deb, Richard, Caprice and Anjali were in France and the girls are seen above at one of the Dordogne's incredible cliff top villages, La Roque Gageac. Caprice (below) made sure to take her dancing shoes along on the trip!

Cory, Rebecca and Sophia (above) were in Italy including a week in wonderful Puglia. Rebecca told us the trip was "truly wonderful and that five year old Sophia wants to move to Italy when she grows up!"
Camille, David and their daughters Evelyn and Lydia were in Iceland. Camille said "Iceland was- so far- the MOST amazing adventure our family has experienced! The itinerary was ideal and we can't wait for our next adventure!"

Laurie, Jayson, Jennifer and Eric and kids were in Israel. Their trip included a night (above) at a Bedouin encampment in the desert! Jennifer said "We are still coming down from our trip - what an amazing time we all had! Thank you for everything - this trip exceeded all our expectations."
Below, Gabriela, Mike, Nicolas and Sofia were on their 2nd Quivertree trip, this time to China. Here they are at the Great Wall.

Sarah and her daughter Ella (above) were in Croatia, Bosnia and Montenegro. Ella also created a youtube video every day of the trip and here's her last one which summarized the full 2 weeks!

Notes, tips and observations
Many of our favorite cities, including Cape Town, made CNN"s list of the Best Cities in the World!

Of course Paris is always included in these lists and for good reasons too!

Well that's a bit of a downer!

An almost impossibly difficult choice!

We have no idea what that could mean!

Best to build up your arm muscles before the trip!
Put that lettuce out of its misery and just eat it!
