A fantastic summer with Quivertree!

It has been an extremely busy summer season so far, with Quivertree families traveling to destinations in Africa, Asia, Europe and more.

TRAVEL UPDATES:

We don't always profile every one of our destinations on our website, so contact us if you want to go to a country that you don't see listed!

AUSTRALIA

This great continent is a new Quivertree destination. Contact us for more details.

With its incredible wildlife and pristine beaches, Australia's Kangaroo Island is perfect for families!

PARIS AND LONDON:

We have great programs designed especially for families with kids 10 and under. In Paris, we offer treasure hunts in the Louvre, a chance to learn some French as a family, private guided tours on amazing topics including the French revolution, Medieval times, Da Vinci Code and more. Learn to bake French bread and pastries or learn to paint like the Impressionists. Kids can enjoy a perfume tour or learn the basics of photography, and you can ride vintage cars, horse and carriages or take a cruise on the Seine in a private yacht! In London, families love our private Harry Potter walks or the chance to experience an English Premier League football match!

These are two of our most popular destinations, and are ideally visited between October and May. Contact us now for more information.

Colorful Guatemala has long been a Quivertree favorite

CHILE & ARGENTINA

Following Gideon's trip in 2013, Chile is now available as an exciting new destination. Argentina combines beautifully with Chile. November - March is the season to go!

Family trip to Southern Africa!
Victoria Falls!
Danielle, Don and their three boys Graham, Wyatt and Owen traveled to South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana. This was their 5th Quivertree trip!
"We had a fantastic time on our trip to Southern Africa.  The wildlife was amazing and we were very pleased with all of our accommodations and the overall arrangement of our trip. We enjoyed seeing Cape Town while the countryside of South Africa is really lovely. Although the drive from Cape Town to Oudtshoorn was a half day, we enjoyed the scenery and the ability to stop whenever we wanted to get snacks or just stretch.

A highlight of our trip was definitely the shark cage diving. That was nuts!  It was very cold that day, but with the wetsuits, we were fine. I am very glad that we did this activity, if just for the bragging rights!

Oudtshoorn was really lovely. We enjoyed touring the ostrich ranch and visiting with those gigantic, curious birds. We were just 3 weeks shy of egg hatching season, so we did not get to see any baby ostriches, but the boys got to hold the ostrich eggs and we learned all about their care. The meerkat adventure was really a highlight for me. I think they are the cutest creatures and so funny to watch.

Safari!
That's how close you get

Victoria Falls was very beautiful. A highlight was the helicopter ride over the falls. We had never ridden in a helicopter before and were somewhat nervous.  But the experience was definitely worthwhile as the view from the air gives you an idea of how majestic the falls really are.

Don checks out some elephants

Botswana was incredible!  We loved our camps and were very happy with the food and amenities.  As it was very cold at night, the fact that the Lodge had electric blankets made me so incredibly happy. But the weather warmed up during the day and the animals were out in full force. The scenery is quite different in Chobe and the Okavanga Delta, so we were very glad to have visited both. All of our transfers were perfect and everyone that assisted us was very kind and helpful. Our favorite camp was the last one, in the Okavango Delta, probably because this was the landscape where we saw the most diverse wildlife, which included the elusive cats. We saw a cheetah mom and her cubs, a leopard, two lions, and a pack of wild African dogs (painted wolves) kill and eat an impala. Awesome!

Thank you for arranging this vacation for us. We always trust that we will be taken care of when we travel with Quivertree. You guys make our vacations stress-free!"
