Dear fellow traveling families,

An exciting 2014 lies ahead!

Welcome to the Winter edition of our newsletter. Winter is one of the busiest times at Quivertree, and over the Christmas/New Year break Quivertree families were busy exploring countries all over the world as you will see in our photos below.

We are now hard at work on bookings for both Spring Break and Summer 2014. Don't leave things too late - the best family accommodation tends to be booked up very early!

This year, hot spots include Africa and Asia. Cape Town is rated the #1 destination for 2014 by the New York Times, and having just returned from there, we can assure you it is a fantastically family friendly city!

We have some brand new offerings for 2014 including Ireland- simply incredible for all ages - and the USA with luxury self-drive trips to the great National Parks of the South West and to majestic Yellowstone. We only feature a selection of our destinations on our website so if you are especially interested in a country you don't see, just ask!

Family trip to South Africa

Martin, Sigrid and Bastian from Austria traveled to South Africa for a month-long trip. There's no doubt what their highlights were as Sigrid told us: "Our journey was so great! It started just awesomely in Madikwe, our 1st safari. The lodge was fantastic, the safaris unforgettable, the food so tasty, the luxury tents very comfortable and the elephants that visited us all day long ... wow !!!! After that we thought Basti would need a break from the safaris, but no! - he loved the safaris the most on our journey. We really enjoyed our stay in Addo National Park, what lovely accommodation, and the self-driving in the Park was so easy. And after that .... Kwandwe, our 3rd safari park. Fantastic! ...we never ever expected such luxury!!!!

The rest of their trip was action packed: whale watching, penguin colonies, Table Mountain, eating ostrich steaks, and many great beaches. What a trip!

We've had families all over the world recently! Antony, Joanne and kids Samantha and Matthew went to Vietnam and Cambodia. Joanne told us: "We had the best time and loved traveling in a country with such a different culture. We had so many amazing experiences that will stay with us forever. Thank you for helping us organize and plan such a fantastic trip!"

Next up, Irina, Yuri, Katrina and Anton followed up their Quivertree Ecuador adventure last summer with a trip to South East Asia. Irina told us: "Given our trip to Ecuador last year, I had high expectations to begin with, yet this trip certainly exceeded them. It was fantastic: everyone in the family loved it!"

David, Shari, Sean and Ryan went to Ecuador and a cruise in the Galapagos. Shari says: "The ship in the Galapagos was amazing. The staff was exceptional and the guide was fabulous. That entire week was spectacular and I wouldn't have changed a thing!" Below, Sean and Ryan try on Panama hats at one of Ecuador's incredible markets.

Peter, Lisa, Sofia and James followed up their Quivertree Colombia trip with an adventure in India. "Thank you Quivertree for another awesome vacation!"

Finally for this issue, Randy, Patty, kids Adam, Noah and Ellie, grandma Sherry and au pair Louise went to South Africa. Patty said: "This was truly a trip of a lifetime! Quivertree made traveling as a family easy and enjoyable. "
