School Exclusion Day is February 20th. If your child is not up to date on their immunizations by that date, Oregon state law requires they be excluded from school.

• New requirement effective this year - all elementary-age children must be vaccinated against Hepatitis A. Hepatitis A is a virus that infects the liver. Flu-like symptoms include abdominal pain, nausea and jaundice, and can last up to two months.

The Oregon Trail School District Budget Committee has three vacancies. Citizens interested in applying to the committee may submit an application to the OTSD district office at 36525 SE Industrial Way in Sandy, or call 503-668-5541 for more information.

The Budget Committee is a 14-member group consisting of the seven Oregon Trail School District board members and seven appointed citizens. The committee serves in an advisory capacity to make budgetary recommendations to the school board. Budget Committee appointees serve three-year terms.

Aquatic Center will reopen for swim season

 The Bignall Aquatic Center is expected to reopen in time for high school swim practice on Monday, 12/17. It has been closed since 12/4 for mechanical repairs. The pool will be reassessed to determine further repair needs at the end of the swim season.
