I hope the new year is off to a good start for you.  One month down already... how does that happen so fast?

 

Very excited to share that the Breath Groups are returning.  Still an open format, still a great price.  Would love to have you join us soon.

 

Of course sessions are still open for you if you would like individual work.  Couples welcome too.   

This seems to be a typically "blah" time of year in the workplace.  You could spice things up AND give the staff a great take-away by hosting a breath event in the workspace.  Call to discuss any or all of these options.

Create The Date 

Lots of energy built up at the end of 2014.  Let's keep it going.  Learn to relax, learn strategies for helping ready your mind/body for sleep, just breathe.  Unless otherwise indicated these are open sessions and we can set a theme when you get here or just get right to it.  Men and women welcome.

This group is for the guys. Working hard, working at the gym, running, biking, whatever gets your outside looking good... but how is the inside.. how is the mind?  Do you find static, repeating messages like annoying commercials?  You are already breathing, now use it to your advantage.  Learn how to use the breath to help clear the mind and relax the body.

In The Next Breath

And We are Back 

I was talking to a friend not that long ago and the idea of how to come out of January came up. He said, "I think of February as the start of the year... getting things going."   Sounded about right to me. 

Those of you, of a certain age, may remember Apollo splashdowns. To me, January is like the parachute bringing the capsule down after all that effort to get through the atmosphere.  About now, we aren't coming back down from outer space, just back from the last quarter of the prior year.

So now that February is here what is it that has your thoughts.. your body?

Is this the year you work on stress reduction?
Is this the month you say "no more racing thoughts as soon as I get in bed"?
Maybe today is the day you say "I am going to find out what this breath thing is about!"

There are lots of reasons to give it a try and lots of ways to look at using the tool.  The thing that I love about working with folks is that everybody is different and every body is different. We work together to find the best match for you.

Bring your body.  Bring your mind.  Be sure to bring it.  Even if you aren't sure what "it" is, we can figure that out once you are here.

What did you want to do, but were told not to do, as a youngster (or recently), that makes you think there is fun to be found there?

 

What you wanted to do may not be the ultimate piece of the story.  What matters is how being told "not to" or "you can't" or "no child of mine is going to..." is impacting you now.  How you hold it, feel it, live with it.  Even if you are ignoring it, you are living with it.

Maybe now is time to give what you were told and what you wanted a new look, with fresh eyes.  Re-evaluate the desire and see if there is still fun to be had.  If so, use new information to decide if you can look into the eyes of the sun.   Or the eyes of someone else.  Or.... whatever it is you may have been told not to do.
