Another Scout on the Rise!

Miracle Rogers from Troop 347 has been selected as one of the 1,000 Bill Gates Millennium Scholars for the GMS Class of 2013. Miracle's renewable scholarship allows her to attend any U.S. accredited college or university of her choice.
This accomplishment is especially notable given the 54,000 applicants this year. This honor distinguishes Miracle as a Leader for America's Future. We are so proud of you, Miracle!
Leticia Polite, also from Troop 347, received this honor in 2006. Leticia is currently in her 7th year, completing the Doctorate Pharmacy Program at the University of Florida.

The Council is conducting an ongoing recycling fundraiser.
Protect the environment by donating old cell phones, digital cameras, and other handheld electronics along with empty ink and toner cartridges.
Proceeds will help serve our girls!
