Torture - The International Outlaw
Today, on Human Rights Day 2015, we are presenting Torture - The International Outlaw, a joint exhibition with Amnesty International and the International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims (IRCT). This exhibition outlines the milestones and the concrete steps taken to make the global ban on torture a reality - by establishing measures for prevention, ensuring that there is justice, redress and rehabilitation for victims, and fight against impunity.

The exhibition will be on display at the United Nations in New York 10 December 2015 to 29 January 2016.
Subcommittee on Prevention of Torture: Country visits 2016
The SPT has announced that it will visit Chile, Cyprus, Romania, Tunisia and Ukraine during the first half of next year.  In the second half of 2016, the SPT plans to visit Kazakhstan, Mauritania, Mexico, Mozambique and Niger.
APT condemns attack on President of Local Preventive Mechanism
We are concerned about the serious attack on Mario Bosch, President of the Committee on the Prevention of Torture of the Argentinian province of Chaco, by armed men who broke into his house on 11 November.
