Workhorse unveils plug-in electric W-15 pickup truck
Workhorse presented the W-15 for the first time at the Advanced Clean Transportation Expo in Long Beach, California. The vehicle they debuted was referred to as a "proof of concept" and while it was a working prototype, it's not likely to be completely representative of the production version, which is expected next year. Natural gas Class 8 retail sales off to healthy start: ACT Research
U.S. and Canadian natural gas heavy-duty retail sales had a good start to 2017, due to mostly refuse fleets, transit, and school bus operators, according to the most recent Natural Gas & Alternative Fuels Quarterly publication released by ACT Research. Full story
UPS to deploy hydrogen fuel cell truck in California
UPS will begin using a medium-duty delivery truck that uses gaseous hydrogen to power an electric battery and motor in Sacramento, California, with an eye toward expanding use of the alternative fuel after a successful test. Full story
Ryder signs to sell and service Workhorse electric trucks
Electric truck manufacturer Workhorse Group reached a deal to have fleet management company Ryder System Inc. sell and service its line of vehicles. Full story
2017 Green Drive$ Conference and Expo
The Lake Michigan Consortium - a partnership between Clean Cities coalitions from Chicago, Wisconsin and Northern Indiana - will host the 2017 Green Drive$ Conference and Expo at Northern Illinois University Meeting and Conference Center in Naperville, Illinois, on May 18, 2017.
