NTEA welcomes senior director of fleet relations NTEA recently appointed George Survant as senior director of fleet relations. In this newly created role, he will work with Christopher Lyon, NTEA director of fleet relations, to lead the Association in serving truck equipment distributors/manufacturers and end-user fleets. XL Hybrids and Knapheide Manufacturing announce installation partnership
XL Hybrids Inc. announced The Knapheide Manufacturing Company will become a ship-thru installer of XL Hybrids' XLP™ plug-in hybrid electric (PHEV) upfits on Ford half-ton pickup trucks. Knapheide will begin XLP PHEV upfits on Ford F-150s in its Kansas City, Missouri, facility starting in fourth quarter 2017. Full story.

Workhorse releases PHEV pickup specs
The Workhorse Group's W-15 plug-in hybrid pickup should provide 80 miles of all-electric range and an equivalent of 75 mpg when operating on electric power. The W-15 will include a gasoline-powered range extender and be available in all-wheel drive. Full story.

2017 Green Drive$ Conference and Expo The Lake Michigan Consortium - a partnership between Clean Cities coalitions from Chicago, Wisconsin and Northern Indiana - will host the 2017 Green Drive$ Conference and Expo at Northern Illinois University Meeting and Conference Center in Naperville, Illinois, on May 18, 2017. The Conference will feature speakers from MotorWeek, UPS, NTEA and automakers. Learn more and register.
