The Green Truck Summit is fast-approaching
If you haven't yet, register today for The Work Truck Show 2016 and Green Truck Summit. The Show is Tuesday, March 1 through Friday, March 4, 2016 at the Indiana Convention Center (Indianapolis, Indiana). Educational sessions and the Green Truck Summit begin March 1, with exhibits open March 2.

Summit keynote announced
Reuben Sarkar, deputy assistant secretary for transportation at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), will serve as keynote speaker at the 2016 Green Truck Summit on Tuesday, March 1. Sarkar supervises the Sustainable Transportation area of the office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), which includes the Vehicle, Fuel Cell and Bioenergy Technologies offices. Representatives from the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) National Labs will be available at the Clean Cities - DOE booth #3605 during The Work Truck Show 2016 to help navigate alternative fuel options. Cummins, Geotab partner on engine diagnostics
Engine maker Cummins Inc.'s remote diagnostics application is now available through Geotab's telematics platform, the companies said in a joint announcement. Read more.
PPG, Bridgestone tapped by DOE to develop fuel-efficient truck and bus tires
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is providing funding to support a $1.25 million collaborative project between PPG and Bridgestone Americas to develop fuel-efficient truck and bus tires. This project focuses on improving the fuel efficiency of truck and bus radial tires using PPG's agilon performance silica platform. Read more.
IHS to acquire Oil Price Information Service
Business analytics and insight company IHS has signed an agreement to acquire Oil Price Information Service, a pricing reporting agency that serves the oil, natural gas and biofuels industries, for $650 million. Read more.
Clean Energy Fuels doubles renewable natural gas sales 
Clean Energy Fuel announced sales of its Redeem renewable natural gas more than doubled to 50 million gasoline gallon equivalents in 2015, up from 20 million the year before. Read more.
Lightweight and Advanced Technology Demo display at The Work Truck Show 2016 
On March 2-4, during The Work Truck Show 2016, the Green Truck Association and the Lightweight Materials Technology Council will present the Lightweight and Advanced Technology Demo display, showcasing fuel-saving components and technology for work trucks.
