Westport secures EPA certification for the dedicated CNG and Bi-fuel CNG Ford F-150
Westport Innovations Inc. announced it has received certification from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for the dedicated compressed natural gas (CNG) and bi-fuel CNG Westport WiNG™  Power System models of the Ford 5.0L F-150 trucks for Model Year 2016. Read more.
UPS rolls out RNG in two states
UPS has put steps in place to supply its fleet for Memphis, Tennessee, and Jackson, Mississippi, with an estimated 15 million diesel gallon gas equivalents of renewable natural gas (RNG) as part of a multiple-year agreement with Memphis Light, Gas and Water and Atmos Energy Marketing, LLC. New Jersey legislature passes Clean Vehicle Task Force bill
In a 23-14 vote, the New Jersey Senate signed off on legislation to establish the Clean Vehicle Task Force. The New Jersey Assembly approved the bill in December and referred it back to the Senate for a concurrence vote. The bill now heads to the governor's desk for consideration. Read more.
Materials provider retrofits step vans as hybrids
BMC, an Atlanta, Georgia-based provider of building materials and construction services, has retrofitted its Ford E-350 step vans with XL Hybrids' XL3 Hybrid Electric Drive System. Read more.
Mack Trucks green-lights renewable diesel fuel
Following extensive truck and engine testing, Mack Trucks has approved the use of renewable diesel fuel in all Mack engines. Read more.
Lightweight and Advanced Technology Demo display at The Work Truck Show 2016 
On March 2-4, during The Work Truck Show 2016, the Green Truck Association and the Lightweight Materials Technology Council will present the Lightweight and Advanced Technology Demo display, showcasing fuel-saving components and technology for work trucks.
