Windell Curole Will Explain Why
"It Never Flooded Here Before"
at BIG's December 10 Luncheon
Windell CuroleSouth Lafourche Levee District General Manager Windell Curole is known for his coastal expertise and achievements, as well as his entertaining stories and speeches. We are excited to welcome him as our guest speaker for the next BIG luncheon on Monday, December 10! 

Windell's presentation is entitled, "It Never Flooded Here Before," and will focus on our changing coastal landscape and the increased risks South Louisianans now face.

The monthly luncheon begins at Noon on Monday, December 10 at the Bayou Country Club in Thibodaux. We hope to see you and your guests there!

Bring a Guest to Lunch with You or Send Someone in Your Place if You are Unable to Attend!
BIG members attend lunch at no charge. There is a $20 fee for reserved guests; $25 for walk-ins.  Since BIG is required to pay for total number of reservations, all reserved guests will be billed for payment regardless of attendance. 
Sponsorships, Award Nominations Now Being Accepted for 2013 Banquet!
  The Bayou Industrial Group 2013 Annual Membership Banquet and Awards Ceremony is scheduled for March 6 beginning at 6 pm at Cypress Columns. Invited guest speakers include U.S. Senator David Vitter and U.S. Congressman Bill Cassidy. 

Banquet Sponsorships are now available, and BIG is also accepting nominations for its 2013 BIG Achiever Awards to be presented at the banquet.

Wanted:  A Name for BIG's New 5K Race and Crawfish Boil-Off
After months of planning, the BIG Membership Committee is pleased to announce the organization's new fundraising event designed to expand BIG's scholarship program and support other education efforts.

The BIG 5 K Race and Crawfish Boil-Off is scheduled for Saturday, April 27 at Peltier Park. 
But before advertising begins, we want a great name to publicize this exciting new event!
