Fun-filled, family friendly night out. NEW Youth Yoga - Girlvana Yoga

A new partnership with Girlvana Yoga has introduced a new youth yoga class. It is designed to empower girls but using yoga, meditation and dialogue surrounding body image, self esteem, and self expression. Something Cool for After School
Are you in grade 6 or 7, attending Gleneagles Elementary School and looking for something fun to do after school with friends? Join the Something Cool for After School Club. Hang out with friends, eat good food, play great games, check out cool stuff around town like the Youth Lounge at the WVCC, bowling and more! You decide - it's your club. Meet at the front entrance to the school on Wednesdays at 3:00pm.

New special Saturday program designed for participants of the 'Something Cool for After School' program at Chartwell and Hollyburn Elementary School. Pottery Gas Kiln & Shed Fundraising
Pottery Programming Gets a Boost
 Last month, Gleneagles Community Centre was awarded $5,000 from the West Vancouver Community Foundation to put towards our Pottery Gas Kiln and Shed. A huge thank you to the District for their contribution of $25,000 and congratulations to the Gleneagles Pottery Studio to have raised $11,000! That brings our total now up to $41,000 - just $9,000 short of our $50,000 goal. Gleneagles Community Centre is hosting an Artisan Festival on Jun 8. This will be a fundraising event bringing together artwork, delicacies and more!

The District of West Vancouver has received partial funding for two public dual electrical vehicle recharging stations (E.V.R.S.) at GECC and the WVCC. Full details available soon, but come check it out! Gleneagles station located in parking lot closer to Gleneagles Golf Course.
